STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

WILL NOT TURN ON

For an electric stove does not start, ensure the appliance is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are on. You will want to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the stove is plugged in or if the pilot light is lit in the oven, it means another part will need to be repaired. The reason for the issue might be the surface element, infinite switch, burner igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER WON’T HEAT

A burner or stove that doesn’t produce heat won’t do much good. An oven will not heat when there’s a broken bake element or oven sensor. A burner won’t ignite if an element is broken or the burner switch or the terminal block do not work. We know how to fix these common issues in under 1-2 hours after we arrive.

TIMER ISSUES

It’s safe to assume the control board on a stove is broken if the timer or program settings do not work. OVEN IS VERY HOT

You want a hot oven. But not too hot! If the heat is too hot, it might be due to a problem with the sensor or thermostat. Our appliance technicians know how to identify the cause of the problem and then repair it. Always be careful if troubleshooting this problem for fear of skin burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat.

IGNITER WILL NOT LIGHT

A common stove issue is times where an igniter glows but it does not light. The reason this occurs is from a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or temperature sensor. We can determine whether we are able to repair these parts or if we have to replace the part.

DOOR DOESN’T OPEN

Modern self-cleaning types of ovens are known to have door issues often. The door won’t open after the cleaning cycle. We inspect the door latch, thermostat and seal to troubleshoot why the door won’t open up and then we complete the repair so we can resolve the problem.
