DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD SOUNDS

Technicians are trained in troubleshooting and repairing dishwasher malfunctions that cause strange noises to come from the appliance. The source of the sounds is either a broken washer arm bearing, pump housing or motor bushing. Because these are common problems, you can depend on us to fix them immediately!

WATER LEAKING

There are usually one of two reasons a dishwasher leaks water. The first reason is there’s a problem with the door latch or closure and it will need to be replaced. The second cause is a failed water inlet valve that will need to be fixed right after our arrival to your home. We have all of the replacement parts to fix GE, Whirlpool, LG and name brands of dishwashers.

WON’T TURN ON

In the event a dishwasher won’t start or turn on, you be sure the dishwasher is plugged in and none of the circuit breakers in the kitchen tripped. If that’s not the problem, the issue might be related to the door latch switches, electronic controls, thermal fuses or motor relays.

WON’T DRAIN/FILL

Your dishwasher is supposed to fill up with water and then drain water after the dishes are clean. A dishwasher doesn’t fill when there’s a broken door latch or float switch or broken water inlet valve. Your dishwasher won’t drain when there is a broken drain hose or pump motor on the unit.

WON’T WASH DISHES

A dishwasher isn’t much use if the dishes are still dirty following a cycle. The dishes can still be dirty if there’s a broken housing gasket, filter or water tube or spray arm. We have parts available to fix each of these common dishwasher issues right away.

DOESN’T DRY DISHES

The reasons to own a dishwasher is for the appliance to both wash and dry dishes. You do not want to have to hand dry dishes and silverware after a cycle. Your dishwasher doesn’t dry when there’s a broken heating element, rinse aid dispenser or thermostat. We are able to repair or replace manufacturer parts related to the drying functions of all models of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE DETERGENT

For your dishwasher to wash dishes, it should be able to dispense detergent or soap throughout the machine. This can’t occur if there’s a broken timer, bi-metal release or wax motor.
